Who We Are
We are a group of women that bridge multiple generations and work together to improve the equity of women and girls. We have a student run club at American River College that frequently meets with those at the branch here; encouraging students to join a safe environment in which they can learn how to be able to advocate for a higher salary at jobs, prepare for interviews, and take part in community events which raise awareness for a multitude of issues such as domestic violence and trafficking.
Together we work to improve the lives of women and girls not only in our communities, but globally as well! We have both interest groups that meet regularly for activities such as bridge and book clubs while also having community service projects such as Days for Girls. We love to look at where we can improve not only our lives, but the lives of those around us.
We hope that you will come and pay us a visit by attending one of our meetings! Students, feel free to attend either branch meetings or the ARC club meetings.
